Inventory management has been a key element in MES. By managing inventory precisely, we can lower the cost yet keeping OTD promised to our customers.
When a batch is shipped, usually the GRPO and Delivery will be updated instantly in SAP and the inventory shall be marked as 0. However, SAP has a tricky part. If the GRPO and Delivery was updated on the same day, the inventory will not show correctly. If the personal is not aware of this, the actual inventory will turn out to be wrong.
MES has a strict policy that ensures GRPO and Delivery will be updated on the same day. Customers will always be updated with the correct inventory value!
